This is how the pattern is. I felt like something is missing. There should be pink in the center block... my thoughts.

Today I made a Hot Iron Cover from the tutorial on Linda's Blog. Thanks Linda!
I had come across the link on Vicki's Web-page today while "hopping". Thanks Vicki! 8-)
The ribbon holds the cord in place...

i love the square, but it is missing a bit of pink in the middle.
ReplyDeletecute cover!
yup the pink is definately a winner in the middle -- just enough lift :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the iron cover. Great idea for traveling...
It looks wonderful, Myra! I love the fabric you choise for it too---well done. Tomorrow I help anyone in my quilt group that wants to try it make one.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool,, love the way you have changed the quilt as you go so many ways,,and also love the iron cover..great ideas..love to visit, thanks
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on adding the pink to the center. Makes a significant difference.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which layout I like best, they are all pretty.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the pink in the middle, it looked better in that picutue and I really liked the square edges instead of the point too!! Great idea for the iron cover!! I am going to have to go and check that out - not that I take my iron with me, but that could change and I would be ready! Thanks Myra!!
ReplyDeleteYou did well to trust your eyes, Myra. I like the pink in the middle!
ReplyDeleteHow did you find quilt-as-you-go? Was it hard?
Playing around with layouts has to be the best part of quilting. I like it better with the pink in the middle too. The hot iron cover is a good idea if you carry your iron often.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty table runners-toppers. I like the one you thought was cool. So do I. Nice iron cover. You have been a busy girl. I like how you cured the purple link problem.....LOL
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt and I LOVE LOVE the cover for the iron!!!!!! Very clever :)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and the furry girls!!
Yes the pink in the middle was missing!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pink in the centre block.
ReplyDeletegreat iron cover. I hadn't heard of one before.
